Lake Manyara National Park below the great rift escarpment is the world biosphere reserve with diverse habitats from acacia woodland, dense ground water forest, open grassland and Soda Lake dominated with flamingoes.

Manyara covers an area of 330 sq km which 220km sq is lake and the rest is land. Manyara situated approximately 125km distance from Arusha along Arusha Ngorongoro highway. The park is famous for tree climbing lions, elephants, baboons, giraffes, monkey, hippos and over 400 bird species.
