Arusha National Park is a lovely national park of Tanzania situated close to Arusha city. The park covers over 137 sq km. The park is famous for black and white colobus monkey, ngurdoto crater, montane vegetation, mount meru, flamingoes that found within Momela lakes which comprise seven soda lakes and other wild animals such as giraffes, bushbuck, zebra, and waterbuck.

Momela lakes comprise several lakes found within the park fed by underground water is among important shelters for lesser flamingoes. The lakes offers adventure canoe ride while viewing birds and also hippos. Another adventure offered to the park apart from normal game viewing and mountain meru climbing is nature walking safari in the park. The nature walking requires escort of armed ranger due to presence of wild animals. Arusha park support more than 400 bird species include lesser flamingoes, goose, cormorants, ibis sacred, egret, storks and others.

Mount Meru is the attraction of the park standing 4566m above sea level that dominated north horizon of the park. Climbing to this second highest peak of the country takes almost 3 to 4 days. Along the mountains constructed the huts for sleeping climbing tour named Miriakamba Hut and Saddle Hut.
